Collaboration shouldn't cost per seat.
EptaChats started from a simple frustration: every team tool bills per person per month, and the bill arrives whether or not anyone logged in.
Approach
Built to cost nothing to run
The pricing isn't a promotion. It follows from how the thing is built.
Serverless by default
No always-on application servers to pay for. Endpoints run on demand and idle at zero, so an idle workspace costs nothing to keep alive.
Calls go peer-to-peer
WebRTC connects participants directly. Media never transits our infrastructure, which is the line item that makes most video products expensive.
Yours to host
MIT licensed and self-hostable. If you would rather not depend on us at all, run the whole thing on your own servers.
Honesty
What this is, and isn't
An MVP that does a focused set of things properly, rather than everything badly.
What works today
Channels and DMs with threads and reactions, video meetings with screen share, a Kanban planner, calendar scheduling, and an Android app.
What's still rough
Enterprise SSO, compliance exports and message retention policies aren't built. If your procurement process needs them, we're not ready for you yet.
Where it's going
Deeper search, better mobile parity, and self-hosting documentation good enough that you never need to ask us anything.
Bring your team together today.
No credit card. No trial clock. No per-seat maths.
